Listen— I'ma say this once, and you probably ain't gonna believe me, hon. Jim Palmer, our *own* Jim Palmer, the Hall of Famer, the man whose statue stands proud out there at Camden Yards like a true Bawlmer king? The man just ate his first chicken wing. Ever. I'm talkin' about the crispy, saucy, finger-lickin' good kind we get from every corner carryout in this city. He's 78 years old, dummy, and he's been walkin' among us, a chicken-wing-virgin, this whole time. Can you even imagine?

He made a bet, see. Our boy Adley Rutschman, who's been tearin' it up for the Orioles, hit a grand slam, and Palmer, bless his heart, had promised he'd try a wing if Adley did it. And Adley, being Adley, delivered. So yesterday, at Jimmy's Famous Seafood, right there on Holabird, our man finally took the plunge. It wasn't a fancy, gourmet wing either, they say it was a regular ol' Frank's RedHot situation. And you know what? He liked it! Said it was "delicious." My mind is blown.
