Fells Point wants your physical ID now.

Listen—your ID ain't gonna get you into Fells Point this summer, dummy.

### Fells Point got new rules for you

I'ma say this once, hon. Fells Point is tryin' to tighten up this summer, and I gotta say, it's about time. They just dropped some new policies where if you wanna get into certain parts of Fells, especially when it's jumpin' on a Friday night, you gotta show a *physical* ID or that fancy verified TSA phone wallet. No more just strollin' in like you own the place. They're talkin' about cutting down on the chaos, the kinda stuff that makes residents around Thames Street wanna pull their hair out.

Now, on one hand, I get it. Fells Point is a jewel, right? That cobblestone, the waterfront, the vibe – it draws everybody, and sometimes that's a good thing. But then you got the crowds, the noise, the folks actin' like they forgot they were in a neighborhood where people actually live. This move, it's clearly to curb some of that wild energy that can spill over. They're tryin' to keep it safe, keep it enjoyable, and frankly, make sure it doesn't become a free-for-all every single weekend.

* **What This Means for Baltimore:**

* **Less Congestion:** Expect fewer massive crowds on those peak nights.

* **Resident Relief:** Folks living in Fells might actually get some peace.

* **ID Check:** Don't even *think* about showing up without your physical ID. Your pic on your phone ain't gonna cut it, hon.

* **Shifting Crowds?** This could push some of the party energy to other spots, like Federal Hill's Cross Street Market area or even Canton.

This is Baltimore, hon—we don't break, we just bend loud. We love our good times, but we also love our peace and our sense of community. This is Fells Point tryin' to find that balance. It's gonna be interesting to see how this plays out through the summer, especially with tourists who ain't used to showing ID just to walk down a street.
