Okay so check it— your City Hall is, like, literally drowning in trash requests. No mames. You know that feeling when you drive down, like, Florence or something and there’s just a mattress chilling on the curb? Yeah, well, people are calling it in. A lot.
### Our 311 Calls Are Wild
The latest 311 data? It’s pretty wild, fam. Over ten thousand requests for "Item Pickups" and almost eight thousand for "Illegal Dumping Item Pickup" just recently. Like, that's literally twenty-five percent of *all* the calls they got. We're talking couches, old TVs, probably a few of those random fridges you see just abandoned. And then "Graffiti Removal" is almost four thousand requests. It just makes you wonder, like, is this really the best use of our city’s resources?
It means our neighborhoods, especially east of the 110, are literally screaming for help with basic services. What are we paying taxes for if not for clean streets? We gotta keep an eye on how the City Council plans to address this, because it’s not just an eyesore, it’s a quality of life thing.
