Your Neighbors Are SO Loud And Your Driveway Is Blocked

So look—we all love New York, right? But sometimes, you just wanna yell. And deadass, a lotta you are doing just that, if the latest 311 data from the past week is anything to go by.

Here's the thing: people are cranky about noise. The top two complaints? Loud music and parties. We're talking:

* **5,614 requests** for street/sidewalk noise

* **4,250 requests** for residential noise

That's almost 10,000 calls about people being too loud. Yo, I get it – you got neighbors, you got life, but respect the peace, right? It's not just the music either; 2,251 calls for "Banging/Pounding" in residential spots. Someone's definitely renovating their apartment at 7 AM on a Sunday, I swear.

And then there’s the parking. Don't even get me started. Nearly 2,600 calls about blocked hydrants. Seriously? That’s not just rude, that’s dangerous. Another 2,149 for blocked driveways. That's New York — if you can't keep up, take the bus, but don't block my driveway. We’ll see if City Hall actually *does* anything about these quality-of-life issues, or if we're just gonna keep making calls.
