Good morning from the Fundy shore — the tide's turning, and so is New Brunswick. Let's get into it.

I'll tell you what, it's been a real low tide for new information down at Saint John City Hall this week. We've been checking the open data portal, right, and it's been pretty much empty. Feels like they're either giving the system a good scrub or there just isn't much fresh to report.

We're always keen to see what's brewing, especially anything to do with development permits. You know, those proposals for new buildings, particularly down around the waterfront or in the South End. That's where folks really pay attention.

* Open data portal seems quiet, maybe even empty.

* Ongoing interest in development permits, especially waterfront and South End.

So, while the official word has been sparse, the unofficial chatter around town is still strong about how our city's growing. We're keeping our ears to the ground, right, and our eyes on those council meetings.
