For real though, let's talk about what our City Council was up to this week. On Tuesday, July 28, the Regular Meeting of Council was a busy one, with a few significant motions carried. According to the official council records, Bylaw 29M2026, Bylaw 28M2026, and Bylaw 27M2026 all passed with three readings. Councillor Harrison Clark voted yes on all of them, showing a pretty clear direction for the city. These bylaws are about amending things, so we'll be digging into the details of what exactly they change in the coming days.
Council also approved the Family and Community Support Services funding allocations, which is always a big one for folks across the city, making sure services get to where they're needed most.
