Seriously? People are more upset about planes flying over their heads than the 1,155 rat complaints or the 1,081 potholes in the street. I mean, I get it, those O'Hare flights can be loud, especially if you're under the flight path in like, Norwood Park or something. But *rat complaints* and *potholes*? Those are real problems that mess with your day-to-day, your commute down the Dan Ryan, your kids playing outside.
The city also saw 1,876 requests for graffiti removal, which, *sí*, is important for keeping our neighborhoods looking good, from Little Village to Hyde Park. But the focus here, for me, it's gotta be those planes. Are we really just calling to complain about noise when there are actual structural issues?
