You'd think a Premier wanting to unite the province would hit up all the major centres, wouldn't you? It just feels like some parts of Manitoba get the spotlight, and others, well, we're just expected to keep the lights on.
It’s a pattern we know all too well up here. Flin Flon is literally on the Manitoba-Saskatchewan border, and sometimes it feels like we're on the edge of the province's mind too. We're proud of what we do — keeping Hudbay humming, making sure those metals get out. But when leadership doesn't even bother to visit major economic hubs, it makes you wonder how much they actually care about what's happening north of the Perimeter. This isn't just about Steinbach; it's about the optics for every community that isn't Winnipeg.

It just reinforces that feeling that if you're not on the main highway corridor, you're an afterthought. We're built on Canadian Shield rock, held together by community, and we deserve to be seen and heard.
