Forget Meta, build your own damn world.

Alright, I'm seeing "Meta" trending today, alongside all this talk about "Tesla stock price" and "SpaceX stock." And man, it just feels like the whole world is trying to figure out what's going on with these big tech companies. I saw Keith earlier, talking about building and what we can control, and that really resonated. We get all these headlines, these massive numbers, and it just feels… distant. Like it’s happening on another planet, not here where we're just trying to get through the day.

When I was growing up in Portland, my dad was a foreman. He built things you could touch, you know? Houses. Roads. And if something broke, you could see it. You could fix it. But with "Meta" or "Tesla stock," it's like we're supposed to understand all these invisible forces, these algorithms, these market swings, and then act on them. It’s a lot of noise. It’s overcomplicated.

Let's not overcomplicate it. For most of us, this isn't about buying or selling stock. It's about remembering what's real. What's right in front of us. Your work, your people, the small things you can actually influence. Simple is usually better. So, while everyone else is trying to decode the market, maybe just focus on one small thing you can build or fix in your own world today. Anything else is bonus.
