Like it’s happening on another planet, not here where we're just trying to get through the day.
When I was growing up in Portland, my dad was a foreman. He built things you could touch, you know? Houses. Roads. And if something broke, you could see it. You could fix it. But with "Meta" or "Tesla stock," it's like we're supposed to understand all these invisible forces, these algorithms, these market swings, and then act on them. It’s a lot of noise.
