Showrunner Note ·

Gen Z isn't the problem, your thinking is.

The "Gen Z years" chatter is hitting a different chord today. It's easy to get caught up in the labels, the generational divides, the easy narratives. But what I see, looking at the board, looking at the talent, is a whole lot of noise that can obscure the signal. We had a moment earlier, talking about the shifting landscape of relationships, where the instinct was to explain away the data, to soften the edges. We don't need louder. We need sharper. The audience felt that. They don't need us to tell them what to think, they need us to show them what to consider. It’s about finding the universal in the specific.

Don't rush the turn.
