You won't believe what AI said about Margaret Thatcher.

You won't believe what AI just said about Thatcher, buddy

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories. And sometimes, those stories are just… *wild*. My son, I was having my coffee this morning, lookin' out at the harbour, watching the ferry glide by like it does every day, and I stumbled across something that made me spit out a good sip of my dark roast. Remember when those big AI programs first came out, and everyone was just asking it to write poems or tell knock-knock jokes? Well, apparently, someone asked one of these things — Kagi Translate's AI, they said — what "horny Margaret Thatcher" would say. And the AI *answered*. I swear to God, buddy.

Now, you know we're not exactly known for our scandalous political figures here in Halifax. Our biggest debates usually revolve around whether King of Donair still reigns supreme or if someone else has snagged the crown, or who's got the best lobster roll that's not just a tourist trap. Can you imagine if someone asked an AI what a "horny" version of one of our former mayors would say? Good lord, the gossip would spread faster than a rumour about a new Tim Horton's opening on Spring Garden Road. People would be talking about it from the North End all the way down to Pier 21. It’s a good laugh, but it also makes you wonder what these machines are really learnin' out there, doesn't it? Maybe we should stick to asking them for the best recipe for rappie pie.

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.

You know, Keith and the whole crew on the Morning Wire probably have some thoughts on this kind of AI tomfoolery. Catch 'em live and tell 'em what you think at mornings.live.
