Well now, if you’ve been wondering what old Tommy’s been keeping an eye on this past week down at City Hall, it’s been all about that big Cogswell Interchange redevelopment, my son. And boy, what a lot of talk there’s been! For years, that project’s been kicked around like a lost puck, but it sounds like we’re finally seeing some real movement.
It’s some good to hear, you know? That old concrete beast has been a bit of an eyesore and a headache for traffic for a long, long time. Everyone from the North End trying to get downtown, or folks heading out to the Armdale Rotary, they’ll all be breathing a sigh of relief when this is done.
* The Cogswell redevelopment is finally moving forward. * It's a project that's been discussed for years, and now has momentum. * The aim is to improve traffic flow and connect neighbourhoods better.
It’s going to change the shape of our city some good, I tell ya. Just imagine, buddy, a proper connection between the waterfront and the Hydrostone, without all that concrete maze in between. That’s what we’re talking about here.
