Well now, if you’ve been wondering what old Tommy’s been keeping an eye on this past week down at City Hall, it’s been all about that big Cogswell Interchange redevelopment, my son! Laughs. Remember all those years of talk, eh? It’s finally happening, and it sounds like the traffic headaches around there might just be easing up some good.
### What's The Plan, Then?
They're really pushing forward with a plan that'll knit that part of town together proper. Imagine:
* Less congestion for folks heading in and out of the peninsula. * More green space, maybe even a new park or two, where that old concrete used to be. * Better connections for folks walking or biking from the waterfront up towards Citadel Hill.
It’s gonna change the whole feel of that area, buddy. Not just a bypass anymore, but a place people might actually want to hang out. And just when we thought we had it all figured out, Mother Nature decided to throw us a curveball with some active weather alerts. Some serious weather and then a bit of a peculiar one, if you know what I mean. But no matter the weather, the Cogswell project is still chugging along.

It means we’re finally seeing some tangible movement on a project that’s been on the books longer than some of us have been driving, eh?
