Your City Hall recap: What a week, eh?
Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.
Well now, what a week we've had, my son! If you've been tuning in, you know it's been a real mixed bag. We started off with some good news about the Cogswell Interchange redevelopment – sounds like that big project is finally chugging along some good. That's always a treat to hear, eh?
But then, Mother Nature decided to show us who's boss. The back half of the week, it was all about those weather alerts.
* Monday was some good news on the Cogswell project. * Tuesday, the real weather started rolling in. * Wednesday and Thursday, it was just continuous warnings for Halifax. * Friday, more weather warnings, just to keep us on our toes.
Seems like we went from big city planning to just bracing ourselves for whatever the Atlantic wanted to throw our way. Always an adventure, living here, isn't it? Hope everyone kept their boats tied down and their donairs close by.
