### Your City Hall talk has been all weather and roads, buddy!
Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.
Well now, if you've been wondering what old Tommy's been keeping an eye on this past week down at City Hall, it's been a real mix, eh? We started off the week with a bit of a head-scratcher on the weather front. Remember that one day when the alerts were showing one thing, but it felt like the sun was just having a laugh with us over the harbour? Some good fun, that was.
Then, Mother Nature decided to get serious, and City Hall was all abuzz with those weather warnings. Lots of chatter about what to expect, and you know how it goes here – we always brace ourselves.
But then, the talk shifted, bless its heart. We moved right into the big Cogswell Interchange redevelopment, my son! It’s been some good news there, with word coming down the pipe that those traffic woes might just be easing up.
Here's the rundown:
* Early week: Some confusion, then some serious weather warnings. * Mid to late week: The Cogswell Interchange project taking centre stage. * Overall: A whole lot of planning for what's coming our way, both from the sky and on the road.
It’s always something, isn’t it? Keeps us on our toes, like trying to catch a seagull with a donair in its beak down by the waterfront.
