They're bringing in Shaun Majumder, the comedian and actor, as the new host. Now, Shaun's from Newfoundland, just next door, so he's got that East Coast charm we know and love. It’s some good to see one of our own taking a bigger stage, you know?
This move, announced as part of their upcoming 2025 season trailer, seems aimed at connecting with people in a new way — focusing on "connections, community, and curiosity." It really just tells you that even in something as serious as real estate, people are looking for a bit of a story and a familiar face. They’re also talking about making the real estate journey more accessible, which is something Jeffrey Kerr spoke about in Episode 72, addressing mobility, visual, or auditory barriers. Good on them for thinking about everyone.
This shift suggests that even real estate conversations are moving toward more personal, relatable storytelling, which honestly, is how we do things out here anyway.
