Your City Hall was some wild this week, eh?
Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.
Well now, what a week it's been down at City Hall, eh? Felt like we were getting tossed around more than a ferry in a chop out there on the harbour, some good! We had a real mixed bag of stories, my son.
The big yarn from this week was all the back and forth at City Hall. It was some wild! If you blinked, you likely missed a thing or two. There was a lot of talk and a lot of movement, and you could feel the energy right through the old bricks down on Argyle Street.
But we also had a couple of days where the weather tried to steal the show, didn't it?
* We had advisories out for Halifax, telling us to respect the weather. * Then, not long after, more warnings popped up, reminding us that Mother Nature runs the show around here.
It really puts a local spin on things when the city's happenings are jostling for attention with a good old Nor'easter, eh? Always something to talk about in Halifax.
