Your City Hall was wild this week, eh?

Your City Hall was some wild this week, eh?

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.

Well now, my son, if you blinked this past week down at City Hall, you likely missed a thing or two, eh? It was some wild, like trying to catch a greased-up eel, honestly. We had a real mixed bag of stories, getting tossed around more than a ferry in a chop out on the harbour.

What a week it was!

* A lot of talk about the big plans for the waterfront, some good. * Then a whole different conversation about the traffic down Spring Garden Road. * And, of course, the usual back-and-forth about the budget, always a hearty discussion down there.

It felt like one day we were talking grand visions and the next it was all about the potholes on Mumford Road. Never a dull moment with our councillors, that's for sure. Keeps a fella on his toes, eh? It's all part of living in this beautiful city, my son.

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.
