Look, this one caught my eye because it’s going to ripple through every business, big or small, from the shops on 3rd Avenue downtown to the farm operations out towards Coaldale. Starting this fall, Alberta employers are going to be on the hook for health insurance costs for any employee who’s still working past 65. Right now, those folks usually switch over to provincial coverage, but the province is changing the rules. It's a significant shift, especially here where we've got a lot of folks who keep working well into their later years, whether it's by choice or by necessity.
