Your street is drowning in trash: 17,000 calls last month.

Okay, so check it—

### Your street might get cleaned up finally

No mames, fam, our 311 service requests are, like, literally off the charts for trash. According to the latest numbers, "Item Pickups" and "Illegal Dumping Item Pickup" are the two biggest issues Angelenos are calling about. We’re talking almost 10,000 requests for general item pickups and another 7,510 for illegal dumping. That's, like, more than 17,000 calls just for people wanting their streets cleaned up! Graffiti removal is also way up there, with 3,100 requests. It’s a lot, you know?

#### What the Heck is Going On?

You see it everywhere, right? Like, the couch on the corner of Whittier and Atlantic, or those mattresses by the 10. This data just proves what we already know: our neighborhoods need some serious TLC. People are trying to do their part by calling it in, but are the services keeping up? What’s even crazier is that "Information-Only" requests are also super high – meaning people are probably calling just to figure out how to even report this stuff, ya sabes?

We gotta keep an eye on how the city plans to tackle this. Are they gonna put more resources into sanitation? Or are we just gonna keep calling and hoping? That’s the real LA, fam — east of the 110.
