Listen, y'all wanna know what's really happening at City Hall? I'm not even gonna hold you, the data from 311 service requests is wild. Guess what's popping off? "Traffic Calming Requests." That jawn is getting mad traction, and it tells you a lot about what people are feeling in their neighborhoods. It ain't just some random miscellaneous thing either; it's specific and people are asking for it.
People are sick of speed demons flying down their block like it's the Walt Whitman Bridge at rush hour. They want speed bumps, they want stop signs, they want something to make folks slow their roll near the playgrounds and the corner stores. This ain't about some fancy Rittenhouse Square problem; this is about families in West Philly and South Philly just tryna cross the street without a heart attack.
