Listen, your trash is still a whole jawn, or nah?
Rubbish and recyclable material collection is still top of mind for a lot of youse, according to the latest 311 service request numbers. I'm not even gonna hold you, it’s not even a surprise. Remember that whole mess last year, or nah? We still seein’ overflowing bins on the corners, especially in some of the neighborhoods further out west and down south. It's a constant battle tryna keep our streets lookin' right when the wooder ice cups and takeout containers just pile up.
It ain't just about lookin' pretty, neither. When the trash sits, it attracts all kinds of other problems. We pay our taxes for these services, and folks are expectin' the city to do their part. This is definitely one of those jawns where you gotta keep that pressure on your councilperson, 'cause if you don't, it just falls by the wayside.
We gotta see if the city's gonna put some real wooder on this fire, or if we just gon' keep havin' the same conversation every few months.
