Philly, your 311 "Miscellaneous" calls are 7x too high.

Listen, Philly, your 311 requests are wild.

Listen up, because I'm not even gonna hold you, the latest 311 request data just dropped, and it's a jawn. We got a whole lot of "Miscellaneous" going on out there, or nah? Seriously, out of all the issues folks are calling about, "Miscellaneous" is popping up seven times as a top concern. That tells me either folks are calling about stuff so wild it doesn't fit a category, or the city needs to get more specific with their dropdown menus for real.

**What's Really Going On**

You got people in every ward trying to get the city's attention, right? And when the top seven things they're calling about are all lumped under "Miscellaneous," it makes you wonder if their actual problems are getting addressed, or nah? Is it a pothole jawn that's not big enough for a "pothole" ticket? Is it a weird smell on your block that ain't got a specific code? This ain't about some Rittenhouse Square fancy talk; this is about everyday folks in Southwest Philly, in Olney, in Bridesburg, trying to get basic services.

We need to see if City Hall is gonna dig into what these "Miscellaneous" requests actually mean. Are they gonna break down that jawn, or just keep it vague? Because that's the jawn, Philly — we don't do fake out here.
