Philly 311 has 8 "Miscellaneous" problems. What are they?

Your City Hall still ain't telling you everything

Listen, youse know I stay on top of what's happening down at City Hall, trying to cut through all the jargon and tell you what’s really going down with our wooder money and our tax dollars. And I'm not even gonna hold you, sometimes it feels like they ain't even trying to be upfront.

What I'm looking at today, from the civic data coming across my desk, is a whole lot of "Miscellaneous" for our 311 service requests. Like, a *lot* of "Miscellaneous." We got eight spots right at the top for 311 issues, and every single one of 'em is just "Miscellaneous."

What's a jawn supposed to do with that, or nah?

* Eight top 311 request categories are labeled "Miscellaneous." * This ain't giving us specifics on what Philadelphians are actually reporting. * Makes it tough to track trends or hold departments accountable.

How we supposed to know if our streets are getting swept, or if the streetlights are out on our block in West Philly, if everything's just lumped into "Miscellaneous"? This kind of vague reporting means we can't see the real issues impacting our neighborhoods, from Kensington to South Philly. We need real numbers, real problems listed out, so we can actually talk about solutions. That's the jawn, Philly — we don't do fake out here.

We gotta keep pushing City Hall for more transparency on these reports. We deserve to know what's really happening in our city.
