Your City Hall is too quiet. What are they hiding?

Your City Hall is too quiet for us, or nah?

Listen, usually, my inbox is flooded with updates from the jawn over at City Hall, telling us what bills got passed, what permits got pulled, and what kind of mess we gotta deal with. But checking the books today, it's quieter than the Art Museum steps on a Tuesday morning.

I'm not even gonna hold you, the civic data for development activity and 311 requests from the city’s dashboard is practically empty. There's nothing to report under ZP_ZONING or BP_ALTER. Same for EP_ELECTRL and BP_MECH. It’s like everyone just packed up their bags and went down the shore.

Now, don't get me wrong, sometimes no news is good news, right? But this silence? It's the kind of quiet that makes you wonder what's really happening behind those big doors when the public ain't looking. We need more transparency on what our city is actually doing.

That's the jawn, Philly — we don't do fake out here.
