Your Three Rivers Arts Fest isn't at the Point anymore.

You won't believe where the Three Rivers Arts Fest is going

So listen—if yinz grew up here, the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival was always, always at Point State Park. Like, you just knew it. You knew you'd walk dahntahn, get some kinda weird food truck pierogi, see some cool art, and just hang out at the Point where the three rivers meet, lookin' at the Fountain. It was a Pittsburgh summer staple, as reliable as the Kennywood Thunderbolt droppin' you. But guess what? The festival is movin' on up to a new spot at something called "Arts Landing." Yeah, I had to look it up too, n'at.

### What This Means for Pittsburgh

This ain't just a small change, it's a whole new vibe for one of our biggest events. For decades, the festival sprawled all over Point State Park, drawing thousands right to the heart of the city. Now, it's headed to this Arts Landing spot.

Here's why this is a big deal:

* **New Location:** Arts Landing is a pretty fresh development down by the riverfront, part of the bigger push to make our riverbanks more accessible and active. * **Different Feel:** It’s gonna change the whole flow of the festival. No more wide-open spaces of the Point. It'll be interesting to see how the vendors and stages are set up in a different layout. * **Revitalizing the Riverfront:** This move is a big win for the folks tryin' to make the riverfront a destination, not just a place you drive past.

It's a little sad to see it leave the Point, for sure. That was iconic. But this city, we're always changing, always growing. The Strip District used to be just warehouses, now look at it! This is just another step in that direction, trying new things, even with our beloved traditions. That's the Burgh, yinz — steel town heart, no matter what.
