Someone in Singapore wants *your* Saint John postcard. Seriously.

You won't believe this Saint John postcard request

Good morning from the Fundy shore — the tide's turning, and so is New Brunswick. Let's get into it.

Now, I'll tell you what, you see a lot of things come across the wire here at MiTL. Important stuff, serious stuff, the kind of things that make you nod your head. But every now and then, something just pops up that makes you stop, right, and think, "Only in Saint John." And today, that thing is a request from Singapore. Yes, you heard me. Someone from halfway across the world, a student, is looking for postcards from *anywhere* in Saint John. Not just the Reversing Falls Skywalk, not just the City Market — anywhere. Just a piece of the Port City to hold in their hand.

### Why This Matters for Us

It hit me, right, how much we take for granted sometimes. We see the grey skies, the Irving tankers, the construction on King Street, and we forget that to someone else, this place is unique. It's special. It’s a postcard. This student, from a place I can barely imagine, is reaching out across the globe because our little corner of the world, right here by the Bay of Fundy, means something to them.

* It’s a reminder of how connected we all are. * It shows Saint John's global appeal, even in the smallest ways. * It's a chance for us to share a bit of our city, its history, and its charm.

I reckon it’s a beautiful thing. It reminds us that our uptown, with its old brick buildings and steep hills, or even just a picture of the harbour fog rolling in past Partridge Island, is a piece of something bigger. It's a slice of New Brunswick life, a bit of that Fundy magic, that's worth sharing. So, if you've got a spare postcard, or even just a nice photo you could print and send, I'd say it's a mighty fine way to represent.
