San Francisco's Draft Just Happened and My Brain is Still Spinning
Okay, so I just finished my al pastor at Zona Rosa, trying to process this. Was this what San Francisco was hoping for? Honestly, it feels like a bit of a mixed bag, which is hella frustrating given how much we know about this team's needs. We went for a few high-upside guys, which is the San Francisco 49ers' MO, but I'm sitting here thinking about that defensive line depth and still scratching my head a little. It’s not a full disaster, but it’s not exactly the clean sweep I was hoping for to really solidify our chances.
They picked up some offensive line talent, which is *always* welcome, especially with Trent Williams getting older, but our secondary still feels like it's holding its breath after some of those later-round picks. I thought we'd go harder on some immediate impact players, especially on defense, where some of our key guys are getting up there. The mood here in San Francisco is a little… confused. It's not furious, not yet, but it's definitely not euphoric. It feels like we took some calculated risks, and now we're all just waiting to see if they pay off. The 49ers usually find gems, but this year it feels like we're really banking on the coaching staff turning some raw talent into gold.
My grade for this San Francisco 49ers draft class? **Cautious.**
