Your City Hall recap is actually wild, my dears
Saskatoon — seven bridges, two rivers, and something happening you haven't heard about yet. This week at City Hall? My darlings, it was a proper mix of high drama and then, you know, the sky falling. Literally!
We started off with more drama than a Nollywood movie, I'm telling you. All week, it felt like City Hall was trying to decide if it was going to rain, snow, or just spontaneously combust. Every day, Environment and Climate Change Canada kept us on our toes with weather warnings. Saskatoon is a city that will invite you to a farm-to-table dinner and then make you defend the concept of a city for twenty minutes, and the weather decided to take that personally!
Honestly, it was a lot of "significant weather is happening or about to happen," without much detail. It's like they wanted us to prepare for *anything*.
* Weather warnings, city-wide, became the daily agenda. * Specific details were, shall we say, a bit shy. * The general vibe was "expect the unexpected."
So, while we're all looking up at the sky, wondering if we need a parka or an umbrella (or both, it's Saskatoon!), City Hall was just… there, managing the chaos. You know how it goes.
