Your City Hall recap is actually wild, my dears!
Saskatoon — seven bridges, two rivers, and something happening you haven't heard about yet. My darlings, this week at City Hall? It was a proper mix of high drama, a bit of the sky falling, and then, you know, the sky falling again!
### Weathering the Storm
Okay, so this is actually wild. You know how Saskatoon is a city that will invite you to a farm-to-table dinner and then make you defend the concept of a city for twenty minutes? Well, City Hall this week was like that, but with actual storms! We had everything from dramatic policy debates to literal weather warnings disrupting proceedings.
* Councillors spent a lot of time debating infrastructure, which, let's be honest, is always a hot topic when you live near two rivers and rely on seven bridges. * There were some real fireworks over a proposed downtown development, with residents from Riversdale and Nutana making their voices heard. * And then, of course, the weather played its part, forcing delays and reminding everyone that even civic leaders can't control everything.
It's been a week of big talk and even bigger skies over the Bessborough. It just shows you, in this city, you always have to be ready for anything!
