Whaddya at, b'y — this is St. John's, oldest city in North America, and we're still here. Let's go. And let me tell ya, b'y, just when you thought you could finally put away the ol' snow shovel, maybe start thinking about da garden on da Southside Hills or a walk out on da East Coast Trail down past Cape Spear, Mother Nature says, "Hold on dere, luv, not so fast!" Up to 20 centimetres of snow, they're saying for eastern Newfoundland, and that includes us right here in St. John's. Twenty centimetres, in late April! I'll tell ya one thing, it's enough to make ya wonder if da spring ever truly arrives 'round here, or if it's just a rumour we hear from da mainland.
