Look, I'm not making light of what's happening in Carman, but it does make you think about infrastructure and maintenance, especially in smaller centres. Here in Thompson, we rely on the Thompson General Hospital for so much, not just for our own community but for all the communities serviced by the Hub. Imagine if something like that shut down surgeries here. It’s a good reminder that every piece of a facility, even pest control, is critical to keeping essential services running. We've got a tough environment up here; facilities need to be built and maintained to handle it all, from the deep cold to anything else that tries to move in.
