Your commute might actually get better. Here's how.

Your City Hall is actually talking about getting around town

Okay but real talk—the Infrastructure and Environment Committee was busy on April 7th, fam. They pushed through a couple of big ones, and it looks like everyone's on board with tackling how we actually, you know, *move* in this city.

The "Congestion Management Plan - 2026 Spring Update" passed unanimously, 6-0. Councillors Dianne Saxe and Anthony Perruzza both voted yes on that one. This is huge, dude. We're talking about getting off the Don Valley Parkway when it's just a glorified parking lot, or actually making it to Scarborough Town Centre without feeling like you've aged five years. It means they're looking at real solutions, not just slapping a band-aid on it.

Then there’s "The Electrification Advantage" which also carried. Dianne Saxe voted yes, but Anthony Perruzza and James Pasternak were absent for that vote, which is interesting to note. This is all about getting our city cleaner, pushing for more electric everything, from TTC buses to maybe even those delivery vans that clog up every street. Keep an eye out for how this rolls out across the wards.

Real talk, this is Toronto — stay up. The crew on the morning show totally went in on this – get the full breakdown at mornings.live.
