🏛 EXCLUSIVE: CITY HALL DATA — Only on The Desk

Saskatoon City Hall is quiet. Too quiet.

Your City Hall is Quiet and That's Suspect

Okay, so this is actually wild – a whole week, and City Hall has been quieter than Broadway Avenue at 3 AM. No new civic data, nothing to chew on. Usually, I'm watching for the next round of debates on our lovely bike lanes, or maybe someone trying to rename a park after a particularly stubborn gopher.

Saskatoon is a city that will invite you to a farm-to-table dinner and then make you defend the concept of a city for twenty minutes, so this silence is... unusual.

Here's my quick take on what this quiet means:

* **No new fights:** Nobody's yelling about property taxes or snow removal, which is a rare treat.

* **Deep breaths:** Maybe everyone's just taking a collective chill pill after the last budget meeting.

* **Something brewing:** Or, and this is my favourite, something big is cooking behind closed doors. You know how it is.

The lack of drama might be nice for a minute, but I'm keeping my ear to the ground. This town doesn't stay quiet for long.

Saskatoon — seven bridges, two rivers, and something happening you haven't heard about yet.
