Your lost ring found 20 years later? Only in St. John's, b'y!
Whaddya at, b'y — this is St. John's, oldest city in North America, and we're still here. Let's go.
I'll tell ya one thing, b'y, you hear a lot of stories around here, especially if you're down on George Street on a Friday night, but this one takes da cake. You know pharmacist Bradley Buckle? Well, he lost a ring, like, two decades ago. Twenty years! And where do you think it turns up? In a thrift store in Ontario, b'y, in a pair of jeans someone bought. The fella who found it, Dan Howard, spent 15 years, *15 years*, tracking down the owner. Think about dat for a minute. Dat's dedication, b'y.
Can you imagine? You lose something so long ago you probably forgot all about it, maybe thought it was gone forever, and then outta da blue, some fella from half da country away calls you up. It’s like something out of a storybook, isn't it? It just goes to show ya, b'y, da world's a smaller place than you think, and sometimes, da good things come back around. We’re all connected, even if it's through a pair of second-hand jeans that made their way off da rock.
### What This Means for St. John's
* **Small World:** It reminds you how connected we all are, even with folks away in Ontario. Our people are everywhere, b'y.
* **Good Deeds:** This Dan Howard fella, he's a true salt-of-da-earth type. It warms yer heart to hear stories like dat.
* **Local Pride:** Bradley Buckle, a pharmacist, a local. It makes you feel like St. John's is still dat kinda place where everyone knows everyone, even if it's a long lost ring that brings 'em together.
It just goes to show ya, b'y, you never know what kinda magic is gonna happen when you're from St. John's. We might be a small city clinging to da edge of North America, wit' da Narrows for our front door, but our stories reach far and wide. And sometimes, those stories come right back home.
