Now, I'll tell ya one thing, b'y, there's always something wild going on 'round da Narrows, but this one, this one had me scratching me head right proper. So, you know how we're all glued to our phones, right? Always checking da weather, da Growlers score, making sure da ferry to Fogo ain't cancelled again. Well, someone out there really, really doesn't like dat, 'cause da RNC just arrested a fella for allegedly settin' two fires at telecommunications towers right here in da St. John's area. Fires! At da towers! Can you imagine da chaos if he'd succeeded, b'y? No more calling yer Aunt Mary in Trepassey, no more streaming yer favourite show while da fog rolls in over Signal Hill. It's wild.

This ain't just some random mischief, b'y. We're talkin' about crucial infrastructure here. Dat's da stuff dat keeps us connected, allows us to call for help if needed, and lets us argue about whether Ches's or Leo's has da better fish and chips. This fella, a 30-year-old bys, was picked up in connection wit' fires dat could've disrupted service for thousands of us, from da folks out in Paradise and Mount Pearl right back to da Battery. Imagine tryin' to get online for work or school if da towers went down. It just makes ya wonder what in da sweet blazes he was thinkin', settin' fires to something so vital to everyday life.
