Your week was all about that Big Sky weather
Good morning from the coulees — the wind's up, the sky's wide, and Lethbridge has something to say.
Look, this past week, the real news out of Lethbridge wasn't coming from City Hall meetings or new bylaws. It was coming straight from the sky, as it often does down here where the *akainawa* – the "long-running water" of the Oldman River – reminds us who’s truly in charge.
Environment Canada had us under a pretty steady stream of weather warnings. We saw everything from blizzard warnings that threatened to make our drive to work a real ordeal, to multiple general weather alerts that kept us all looking up at the clouds.
* Blizzard warning issued early in the week. * Multiple ongoing weather warnings for the region. * Focus on what weather was coming, not just what was here.
It felt like a week where the wind, rain, or snow was almost a character in every conversation, making sure we didn't forget where we were.
