Uff da, Minneapolis is buzzing for tonight's game!
### We're Feeling Good About This One, You Betcha
You can feel it over on Hennepin Avenue, even down in the North Loop — there's a real hum today. It's not just the usual Minnesota nice chatter; people are feeling genuinely *good* about the Minnesota Wild taking on the Colorado Avalanche tonight. Usually, playing the Avs brings out a bit of that nervous energy, you know? Like, "Are we good enough?" But after that last win and finishing up the regular season so strong, folks are feeling confident. I heard a couple of fellas at Spyhouse Coffee talking about how this Wild team feels different, more gritty, and ready to go. No one's checked out, not with the playoffs right around the corner.
The biggest talk, though, is still about whether our boys can really go deep this year. We've seen too many first-round exits, and frankly, it's an insult to all the hard work those kids put in on the pond. People are saying this is *the year* for the Wild to finally make a statement, especially for all the youth hockey players looking up to them. There's a real sense that this team owes it to the State of Hockey to perform.
You betcha — Let's Play Hockey. This is Ingie Olsen-Carlson.
Oh, and don't ya know, Sven and the gang talk about this every morning. Check 'em out live at mornings.live.
