Parris Campbell retirement, huh? Just saw that pop up. A lot of these guys, they come in, flash a little bit, then they’re gone. It’s a hard game. People wanna say "injury" or "bad luck." Yeah, sometimes. But how much did you want it? Really? Did you put in the work when no one was watching? Did you do the extra sets, the extra film study? Or did you just coast on talent?
Don’t get me wrong, it takes a lot to even make it to that level. But staying there? That’s a whole other animal. That’s where consistency is our competitive edge. I just laugh, man, thinking about all the excuses people make for not getting where they want to be. It doesn't interest me. If you want more, you must become more.
