Five weather warnings in May? What's going on, Regina?

Your City Hall talk this week was all about the weather, eh?

*Tânisi* Regina. Darlene Chicken-Lawson here, giving you the rundown of what we’ve been chatting about this week from City Hall. It's been one of those weeks, hasn't it? Seems like the big news out of City Hall lately hasn't been about budgets or new bylaws, but about the sky itself, eh?

### Just How Many Warnings Did We Get?

We've been under a pile of weather warnings this week, and I mean a *pile*. It felt like every morning I was telling you about another one, sometimes five at a time!

* Monday started us off with "serious conditions" rolling in. * Tuesday, well, that was just "rough" all around. * Wednesday had me telling you to "bundle up," which, for May, is saying something. * Thursday kept the "bundle up" theme going strong.

It's been a bit wild, oh for sure. They're still working on getting more specific details out about exactly what kind of warnings these were, but the message was clear: stay safe and keep an eye on things. Makes you wonder if the City Hall folks are just as tired of it as we are, eh? Keeping our roads clear around Wascana Lake and making sure our public spaces are safe takes a lot when the weather keeps throwing curveballs like this.

This is Regina — yeah, we know what it sounds like, and we've heard your joke. Now sit down and listen.
