Your City Hall recap and what we learned, eh?
This is Regina — yeah, we know what it sounds like, and we've heard your joke. Now sit down and listen.
*Tânisi* Regina. Darlene Chicken-Lawson here, giving you the rundown of what we’ve been chatting about this week from City Hall.
It’s been a week where the real action wasn't always at the council table, *nanâskomitên* for that. Mostly, we've been looking up at the sky, eh?
### Just Look Up
Weather, oh for sure, the weather. That's been the main topic. It seems like every meeting started with someone talking about the rain, or the wind, or the fact that it felt like winter in June. City Hall chatter echoed what everyone in Regina was already saying:
* The rain was something else, wasn't it? * Wind warnings seemed to be a daily thing. * Everyone's garden plans are a bit behind now, eh?
It reminds you that no matter how many bylaws they debate, we're all still just folks worried about the same prairie things. The city's been busy with drainage concerns, and just getting through the day without losing a hat to the wind.
It’s been a bit of a quiet week on the big policy front, but honestly, sometimes that’s just how it goes in Regina, eh? We take things as they come.
