Well, if you've been with me this past week, you'll have noticed a distinct lack of… well, anything much from Saint John City Hall, right? We've been checking the open data portal, looking for some fresh civic data, some decisions, anything really.
It's been quieter than a Sunday morning on Water Street before the tourists wake up. We've seen no new reports, no updates on projects, not even a peep about the usual council kerfuffles. It leaves you wondering, where's everyone gone?
* No new civic data released this week. * Zero new City Hall reports or announcements. * A general quietness, which isn't the Saint John way.
I'll tell you what, it's not like the city just stops running. The folks down at the Irving Oil Refinery are still working, the ferries are still crossing, but City Hall? It's been a real head-scratcher. We’re hoping for some movement next week, right? For the sake of transparency, and for the sake of knowing what the heck is going on in our own backyard.
