Your City Hall has been too quiet, right?
Good morning from the Fundy shore — the tide's turning, and so is New Brunswick. Let's get into it.
I'll tell you what, this past week down at Saint John City Hall has been a real head-scratcher. We've been looking for any kind of new civic data, right? So much of what we do here at MiTL depends on that open information, the stuff that tells us what's really going on behind those big doors on Charlotte Street. And this week? Crickets, I tell ya.
It's been awfully quiet. No new reports, no fresh numbers on anything from building permits down on the waterfront to traffic flow up by the university. You start to wonder, right, if the open data portal's gone on a little vacation, or maybe everyone's just been too busy dealing with the upcoming Bay of Fundy fog season. Whatever it is, it leaves us, and you, without that vital snapshot of our city's pulse. We'll keep digging, of course.
