There's a couple, Michelle and Andrew, right here in St. John's, who formed an unbelievable connection wit' a woman from Trinidad. Wendy Salandy was flying over to Europe, see, when she had a medical emergency that forced her plane to divert to our airport, and she ended up in da hospital here. She was alone, far from home, and dat’s where Michelle and Andrew stepped in, offering her comfort and support like she was family.
