Your Mammoth are bringing the heat to Salt Lake City
It's gameday, you guys, and the energy here in Salt Lake City is just... electric! I mean, I was grabbing a Dirty Soda down on 9th and 9th this morning, and every single conversation was about the Utah Mammoth taking on the Vegas Golden Knights tonight. Folks are feeling super confident, almost giddy, after that last road trip, even with the tough loss to Colorado. It's like everyone suddenly realized, 'oh my heck, we're really doing this!' You can practically feel the buzz all the way from the Avenues down to Sugar House. The whole city is just buzzing with that new-team excitement, and it’s infectious, you know?
The big talk of the town, honestly, is how incredible our rookie defenseman, Lars Jensen, has been. People are saying he's going to be a franchise cornerstone for the Utah Mammoth, and after seeing him play, I totally agree! There's also some chatter in the group chats about the playoff picture — we're sitting pretty at Wildcard #1, but everyone knows we need to keep pushing. No one's checked out, oh no. This is the first year, and we're all in, building these traditions together. You can see it in every window of every shop down Main Street, little Mammoth flags waving.
Tusks up, Utah. We're just getting started.
