We’ve seen a recent flurry of activity in business licensing, which is always a quiet hum of economic life. Among the usual, a couple of new entries caught my eye, or rather, my sweet tooth. Hazel’s Ice Cream Ltd. has secured not one, but two mobile bicycle vendor licenses for Victoria. What does this mean? It means more opportunities for a cold treat on a warm day, perhaps near Beacon Hill Park, or maybe trundling down the waterfront in James Bay. It’s a very Victoria way to do business, isn’t it? Sustainable, charming, and probably quite delicious.
Other notable movements include:
