According to recent building permits issued by the City of Victoria, an electrical permit (EP083395) was approved for $8,200 to "Remove existing basement wiring. Wire in new basement suite. Includes; bathroom-storage rooms-2 x bedrooms - new kitchen area- baseboard heating." This is a tangible step for residents looking to add density, and perhaps a little financial relief, to their properties.
