That's between 4:23 AM and 7:01 AM, in the Broadway-Assiniboine and Weston neighbourhoods, hey. With the temperatures changing and the roads sometimes doing that freeze-thaw dance this time of year, it makes you wonder if conditions are playing a bigger role than usual. Always good to take it slow out there, especially around those early morning hours when things are still a bit… frosty.

On the business front, it's a bit of a mixed bag. Our monitors show five businesses have closed in the William Whyte neighbourhood over the past month, contributing to 29 total closures across the city, with other clusters in Spence and Wolseley. But on the flip side, we've got nine new liquor license applications posted this week. That's a sign of new life, hey! It shows that even as some places close, our city keeps reinventing itself.
