You love Man on Fire, but you're missing something.

"Netflix Man on Fire remake" is trending. And some of you are probably thinking about how great Denzel was. How visceral. How satisfying the revenge. But let's be clear about what that film was, and what a remake will still be: a fantasy. A story where personal justice, outside the confines of law, provides resolution. In the real world, "criminal defense lawyer" trends for a reason. Because vigilante justice, however emotionally appealing, leads to more victims, not fewer. It's a cycle, not a solution. The truth is, most people want justice until they have to face the real cost of it.
