Your City Hall just had a very quiet week
Good morning from the coulees — the wind's up, the sky's wide, and Lethbridge has something to say.
Look, this past week was a testament to how the weather can just… take over. The Ƞíítsitapi, the people, around here know that when the skies turn, everything else just kinda waits. City Hall certainly seemed to follow that rhythm.
This week's themes were:
* **Weather Warnings:** A persistent presence, keeping us on edge with heavy rain and wind warnings. * **Quiet Hallways:** Not much new news or data coming out of City Hall. It was exceptionally quiet. * **Holding Our Breath:** There was a definite feeling of the city just collectively waiting for the weather to settle down.
It felt like the city was just hunkering down, much like many of us were in our homes along the Oldman River. Sometimes, the most important story is the one that *isn't* being told at the council chambers, but rather by the clouds overhead.
